THE INTERVIEW:

What do you consider the main achievements in your life?

I wrote a book that was published by Penguin India in the lockdown and that was a big achievement for me because it was always my dream to write a book. I also think sustaining the Agency in the pandemic and thriving thereafter is a feat in itself. Brands and start-ups have trusted us with their vision and mission. Finally, my biggest achievement in life is raising a kind, considerate and understanding son who realizes that my work is my passion and is supportive.

Your motto for Women Empowerment

Women can do anything that they set their minds to - we are a powerhouse of talent that doesn't take NO for an answer. We prevail, we work hard and we persevere. A lot is expected of women - be the perfect wife, the perfect daughter, the perfect mother, the perfect daughter-in-law, the perfect homemaker and much more. So, the standard expected of us is quite high.

Women are unique in that we roll with the punches, we deal with them better, and we push forward and rise above and perform like no other. Women just need to break free of societal expectations and shackles and labels that people bestow upon us and realize our full potential and find our true calling outside of familial expectations.

What qualities do Women need to imbibe within themselves to be more Empowered and successful in life?

Women need to be fearless in the face of change, risk and stressful situations that arise daily. Once we accept that we can do it all, there comes this limitless feeling and power that helps us conquer all our obstacles and succeed in life.

It does take time for women to accept that their career goals can be given importance and credibility, just as their familial goals. To be empowered, I hope that more women enter the workforce even after they have children because what better reason than to set a great example for your child and show him/her discipline, great work ethic and how hard work above all, always wins.

What drives you to be at the Top of your Game?

I genuinely believe that mediocrity is not for me. I believe that there is a higher calling and I am just all about putting my head down and working constantly to achieve milestones in my career, and drown out all the noise. I don't believe in comparisons or being brought down by the chatter of the world.

What are your success strategies?

I don't believe in feeding into any kind of conversation that will bring me down. I believe in being good at our work and putting in effort which will win eventually. Knowledge is power so I believe that studying the space and connecting with the right people will help me know my client and the space better.

Which causes related to Women would you like to support?

I am a huge supporter of underprivileged girl child organizations and especially education for them. I think educating the girl child is the most important thing and if parents realize that soon, their lives will be fuller.
