What does Women Empowerment mean to you?

Women Empowerment to me means creating an environment where women have equal opportunities, rights, and representation in all aspects of life, enabling them to achieve their full potential and participate actively in decision-making. A woman is truly empowered when she takes charge of her life completely and freely. She has the ability to do it herself with the right support. I personally believe that strong women can create stronger women. We need the tribe to grow and support each other.
Why are Indian Women less empowered?
Indian women are often less empowered due to various factors including societal norms, cultural biases, lack of education and employment opportunities, gender-based violence, and limited access to resources. Many women are reluctant to take that leap of faith or unable to find that non -existent work life balance and succumb to the pressures.
Tips to build self-confidence within yourself.
To build self-confidence, focus on self-care, set achievable goals, challenge negative thoughts, practice self-compassion, and surround yourself with supportive people who uplift and encourage you. Most importantly, focus on your overall health and fitness.

It’s extremely important to take care of yourself, do things you love, take that 15 minutes daily to focus on activities to stay physically fit. Being active and eating right is crucial to be mindful of oneself. Building self-confidence is a journey that requires dedication and self-awareness. It’s important to be consistent, celebrate your strengths, step out of your comfort zone, practice self assertiveness, push your limits and pursue your passion.

Tips to walk out of a toxic relationship.
Walking out of a toxic relationship can be challenging, but it's essential for your well-being and happiness. It can be extremely traumatic as we are conditioned to be in a relationship even though it’s harmful and hurtful. Any kind of abuse is a strict NO. Not even the slightest of emotional abuse, humiliation or dishonesty should be acceptable. Recognize the signs in the early stages. We tend to ignore for the sake of our loved ones coz we are too emotionally invested in them.

Put your own well-being and happiness first. Recognize that staying in a toxic relationship can have serious consequences for your mental, emotional, and physical health.

Women causes you would like to support.

I am very passionate about fitness and believe in empowering women through health and fitness. I am a Pinkathon Ambassador and an advocate for women’s fitness. Empowering women through health and fitness is a powerful way to promote physical and mental well-being, confidence, and self-esteem.
Every woman must understand the importance of regular exercise, healthy eating, and overall well-being. The benefits of physical activity for both physical and mental health are tremendous. A fit woman = a fit family = a fit society = a fit country.
I ran Mumbai to Pune, a distance of 160 kms to convey the message that “If I can then anyone can”. Running helped me overcome my personal challenges. Not only did this marathon make me physically fit but also mentally strong. It helped me through my divorce, made me kinder towards myself and enabled me to value myself. I have become unstoppable and invincible. I dropped the baggage of being a victim. I reminded myself that I am born to fight and not surrender.

What’s your message for Indian Women (especially Single Mothers) on Women’s Day?
