Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, Goa has announced the appointment of Mr. Rupesh Gupta as Hotel Manager, effective March 23, 2026, marking a strategic move to further strengthen its leadership team in India’s luxury hospitality landscape.

Mr. Gupta began his hospitality journey as an Industrial Trainee at Taj View Hotel, Agra, in May 2002, and has since built over two decades of extensive global experience across premium hotels in India, the UAE, and Africa. With a strong foundation in Food & Beverage and Operations, he brings a well-rounded perspective to luxury hotel management.

Prior to joining Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, he served as Director of Operations at Grand Hyatt Goa, where he played a key role in driving service excellence and operational innovation. His career also includes prestigious taskforce assignments at Park Hyatt Goa, Hyatt Regency Pune, and Hyatt Regency Harare, Zimbabwe, further strengthening his international expertise.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Vivek Batra, General Manager, Taj Cidade de Goa, said that the team is delighted to welcome Rupesh, highlighting that his strategic vision, operational expertise, and passion for hospitality will further enhance guest experiences and strengthen the hotel’s position as a leading luxury destination in Goa.
